General Business Experience

With almost eight years of experience in an entrepreneurial firm as the Chief Financial Officer, three years auditing with Arthur Andersen, a CPA, an MBA and a MAcc from Utah State University, I am very well qualified to perform consulting services for any type of business.

My experience as a CFO for 8 years exposed me to all areas of business management. This included implementing a mid-level accounting software (Solomon IV), financial reporting, managing all legal issues, contract negotiation, real estate management, evaluating and securing all types of insurance, payroll and HR administration, lease negotiation and direct interaction with board of directors.

My experience with Arthur Andersen exposed me to many industries and taught me how to deal with people in various situations. Being an auditor taught me how to deal with uncomfortable situations, as the connotation that goes along with being an auditor is usually the “necessary evil”. However, through interpersonal skills, I was able to get past the imposition and accomplish the purpose of the audit.

International Experience

I was deeply involved in launching offshore business units in the Philippines and Canada that created strategic advantages. My international experience also included utilizing the L-1 VISA program (intercompany transfer VISA), that I spearheaded, to integrate company culture, training, and the ability to make the organization one company doing business in many nations.

I have proven my ability to grow a profitable business not only domestically, but internationally.

As CFO, I was responsible for an international accounting staff and all of the administrative responsibilities for a multinational company.

M&A Experience

I played an integral part in growing the company from $15M in revenue in 2000, to over $60M in expected revenue in 2008. In addition, during that period of time, I helped guide the company through two recapitalization transactions. This gave me unique experience and a deep understanding of the M&A process first hand from the investment banking, private equity, and the management perspective.
